Map & location info

Join the Charleston Bird Club for a morning walk through historic Magnolia Cemetery. Founded in 1850 along the Cooper River, its live oaks, ponds, and marsh edges support a great variety of birds. Expect wading birds like Great Blue Heron, Great Egret, and Wood Stork on the ponds, Osprey overhead, and songbirds moving through the oaks as fall migration picks up — a good chance for warblers and other migrants.

Bring binoculars, water, and comfortable shoes. All experience levels welcome.
