Charleston Surfrider is partnering up with Charleston Bird Club to clean Newmarket Creek - a tidal creek in downtown Charleston.

This area is ecologically important and an area where countless species of wildlife, especially birds, live! Cleaning this area is a great way to give back to our downtown marshes and wildlife. 

You will be picking up litter that spans from the parking lot, to the marsh, into the creek. Feel free to bring boots if you want to get dirty! This is also a great opportunity to meet people from either group and build community in the low country.
